It is grown in countries throughout central and south America and for years it has been an important food source to the natives of these countries. They regularly eat the fruit but also mix it to make juices, ice cream, desserts and other dishes. In recent years it has gained popularity throughout the United States after it was declared a super-food and even more so after it was featured on Oprah. It has been called such because the flesh of the Acai was found to be packed with an unusually high concentration of antioxidants, amino acids and healthy fats.

The effort that people expend to lose weight can take people to many different products, but no product has gotten as much publicity as Acai berry. Many people have used this product with great success. However, people need to be very careful when they see free trials of this product. While there are many legitimate offers, there are also many supposed free trail offers that are very bogus. In some cases, the free trial could cost you more in shipping than buying the product outright would have cost. In other cases, all these people are looking for is getting a hold of your credit card number.
