I have a serious pollen allergy. I wanted to lose weight with the help of acai berry and the various products made from it, but I was worried about the effect the berries would have on my allergy. I had read somewhere that is might effect me. I love the idea of using something like this but I was worried about the acai berry side effects that I had read about.

I asked someone who knew a lot more about this than I do — he’s a nutritionist — and he assured me that as long as I was not using a lot of acai then I probably would not experience any acai berry side effects.

I was still in two minds, but I went ahead and tried anyway. I figured that if I just took a couple supplements a day, then worked up to juices and purees, then I shouldn’t be in any danger. Even if I did experiences any acai berry side effects, I thought, they should be relatively mild.

So I started working up, slowly but surely. I’m currently taking a slug of acai juice in the morning and 4 acai supplements throughout the day. Is it working for me? Yes. Any acai berry side effects? None at all.

Most of these products dodgy have been proven to not work as well as they claim through several scientific studies. As many people know, losing weight is not easy, and there is no magical fruit, berry or other substance that will do it for you.

Do not lose hope though, even with all these products being proven incapable of doing what they claim. The acai berry can be a very helpful fruit for your diet. You must exercise regularly, and maintain a regular diet (which will include the acai berry or some product made from it), and your diet will be on the road to success. The berry contains many acids that will help your body lose weight easier, thus exercising regularly is essential.

I am an acai berry juice producer. Until Oprah Winfrey offered her revelation to the world about just how good acai berry is, I was scraping a living from the sales I could get. You see, acai juice is — was — a relatively niche product. It is a great product, as far as I was concerned, but it was definitely in the niche markets; that is where it was destined to stay until Oprah became involved.

Overnight sales from my website soared. I was getting calls throughout the night from people wanting to order a year’s supply, from shops and other distribution companies wanting to buy in bulk. I couldn’t believe my luck, but there it was in black and white on my orders sheet.
