Though, there is much hype around the amazing fruit, people must keep in mind that it will not magically make you lose weight. You should not expect this fruit to make you lose 30 pounds in two weeks, because this will not happen. Do not believe me? Ask people who have tried it. It takes time.
Nonetheless, it is still very healthy for those considering a diet. The problem is that ever since the fruit was discussed on Oprah, there have been hundreds of products being made with the acai berry claiming that you will lose weight very easily. Most of these products dodgy have been proven to not work as well as they claim through several scientific studies. As many people know, losing weight is not easy, and there is no magical fruit, berry or other substance that will do it for you.
Do not lose hope though, even with all these products being proven incapable of doing what they claim. The acai berry can be a very helpful fruit for your diet. You must exercise regularly, and maintain a regular diet (which will include the acai berry or some product made from it), and your diet will be on the road to success. The berry contains many acids that will help your body lose weight easier, thus exercising regularly is essential.
